2015/2016 Goals


  • Increase Active Minds presence by tabling, hosting regular and special events, expanding our social media reach, and providing opportunities for students to share their stories.

  • Build a stronger connection and collaboration with the Peterborough Community, specifically with mental health/wellness/social justice groups (CRRC, CGSJ, OPIRG, CMHA to name a few) in order to better support students.

  • Team up with other campus groups to give students the tools they need in order to succeed.  

  • Provide free educational workshops and self-care events for students throughout the year.

  • Work with Trent faculty to advocate for students' mental health needs.

  • Co-host No Stress Day around exam times

  • Continue to reach out to students via Arthur, Trent Radio, SH101 & other mediums.
